Bell Desk / Driver

Bell Desk team is the first and last person guest will see, providing the warmest welcome and farewell. Assist guest with their luggage and provide safety transport pick up / drop off. Responsibilities include providing warm welcome and farewell to guests, assisting with luggage upon arrival and departure, recording all luggage movement, handling luggage storage and shipping parcels, delivering guest requests and amenities to the room, providing safe and timely transportation to and from AYA Niseko, general maintenance of vehicles to ensure they remain in good condition, and performing other driving duties.

Salary1,650 JPY ～/ Hour

Working Hours40 Hours / week, Hours may increase over high occupancy periods.

Is accommodation included?

Staff accommodation fee: ¥20,000 - ¥55,000 per month. Shared dormitory/private room: utilities and Wi-Fi included. Shared shower/bath, laundry, drying room, kitchenette. facilities). Located 5 minutes walk from Hirafu Gondola. Apartments in the city also available (need a car to commute to work).

Is food included?

Subsidized staff meals (lunch and dinner approximately ¥300 per meal).

Visa RequirementsFor foreign nationals, a Japanese work permit or working holiday visa is required.

Qualifications

Desirable: Passion for snowsports and the outdoors

Desirable: Previous experience in the hospitality or travel industry

Desirable: Previous experience driving in heavy snow and other inclement weather

Requirements

Strong interpersonal & communication skills, both written and in-person

High grooming standards and professional appearance

Ability to lift/move heavy equipment/luggage when necessary

Clean driving record and a valid international or Japanese driving permit

Meets required licensing standards
