The Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education is welcoming applications for Assistant Language Teacher positions for the 2025 academic year. Ideal candidates will be native English speakers (or possess equivalent proficiency), hold a valid residency status, and have a strong interest in education and language teaching. The employment is hourly paid, with a contract extending from April 2025 to March 31, 2026, covering various types of metropolitan schools. Job Responsibilities: - Assist in English and other foreign language classes. - Support preparation and review for classes. - Assist in lectures during long-term holidays. - Help prepare and evaluate performance tests for periodic examinations. - Participate in planning sessions for class arrangements at the start of school semesters.
Salary5,640 JPY per hour + transportation fees (limited)
