Position Overview - Basic Functions & Responsibility Influence brand/franchise decision-making by developing and implementing appropriate competitive intelligence and secondary market research plans, timelines, and budgets in a compliant manner. Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to understand business issues and design appropriate methodology, developing actionable insights. Leverage relevant insights, including primary research, secondary data, competitive intelligence, syndicated reports, and databases to present a holistic view of business performance. Core Responsibilities: - Collaborate proactively with the marketing team to understand and address key business decisions including strategy development, forecast assumptions, execution choices, and performance measurement. - Develop and implement competitive intelligence and data purchase plans, timelines, and budgets in compliance with stakeholders. - Engage with external agencies to ensure appropriate methodologies are integrated, utilizing innovative approaches and integrating competitive intelligence with secondary data effectively. - Integrate secondary data, syndicated reports, databases, and competitive intelligence into a compelling narrative to guide decision-making. - Identify metrics and mechanisms to measure benefits and monitor against business case predictions. - Sometimes include incremental skills within market-specific domains (oncology, vaccine, etc.).
