As a Defense Mission Professional, you will be instrumental in providing technical and operational advisory support to a Marine Corps client, specifically relating to the Defense Policy Review Initiative (DPRI). Your role will involve serving as a principal subject matter expert for DPRI-related matters, contributing to planning and advisory activities across various initiatives, including: - Terms of DPRI bilateral agreements - Operational requirements - Command and control functions - Facility and area development - Force posture laydown and flow design - Unit consolidations and relocations - Risk and change management You'll also take the lead as a planner or project manager for facility projects and work to develop strategies that maximize operational capabilities while minimizing risks throughout the DPRI lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate and lead working groups/meetings with diverse organizations - Provide strategic planning and advisory oversight - Manage multi-faceted projects and initiatives - Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies - Collaborate closely with clients to design effective solutions for mission objectives
