Founded by experts Tiago Ramalho and Katsutoshi Yamada, Recursive aims to transform clients into AI-first businesses employing cutting-edge technology. ### Internship Responsibilities: - **Run and Modify Experiments:** Contribute to developing and refining machine learning models through hands-on experimentation. - **Analyze Results:** Evaluate and document the outcomes of experiments, deriving insights to guide future research. - **Experiment Reports:** Write comprehensive reports to support knowledge sharing within the team. - **Stay Informed:** Read and review the latest research papers in machine learning to keep up with advancements in the field. - **Test Algorithms:** Experiment with and modify open-source code or create new implementations with supervision. - **Collaborate:** Work in a team-oriented environment, supporting project objectives and deliverables. ### Expectations: - **Learning Drive:** Demonstrate commitment to learning new topics and improving methods. - **Analytical Skills:** Utilize strong problem-solving abilities in team projects. - **Communication:** Clearly share ideas and findings, both verbally and in writing. - **Flexibility:** Adapt to changes in priorities and challenges swiftly. - **Impact Orientation:** Engage in projects aimed at benefiting society and the environment. ### Qualifications: - **Educational Background:** Currently pursuing or possessing a degree in a STEM field (e.g., Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Computer Science, Aerospace, Electric Engineering). - **Programming Skills:** Proficiency in Python, capable of modifying and developing relevant code. - **AI Passion:** Enthusiastic about AI developments and their applications. - **Detail-Oriented:** Focused on accuracy and quality. - **Language Skills:** Proficient in English; knowledge of Japanese is a plus. ### Work Structure: - **Flexible Hours:** 10:00 - 16:00 core hours, 15-25 hours/week. - **Hybrid Model:** Up to three days remote work; more for engineering roles. - **Compensation:** Hourly pay based on experience; commuting allowance provided. - **Visa Support:** Limited visa sponsorship; preference given to those with valid work visas.
