Background of Recruitment • This year, ZenMarket's proxy purchasing service (with over 2 million registered users) has partnered with major e-commerce companies in Japan, aiming to capture 20% of global e-commerce sales into Japan as a goal for ZenGroup. Additionally, a new service called 'ZenLink' was launched in November 2023 to enhance Japanese companies' sales through collaboration with ZenMarket. Currently, we are recruiting new marketing members to facilitate smooth communication between the sales and marketing teams. My usual tasks include operating social media, communicating with partners, and copywriting; recently, I have leveraged my market research skills for data analysis, editing, qualitative interviews, and formulating marketing strategies. It has been a lot of fun! My colleagues form a diverse group of five with unique abilities that are essential to ZenPop. Job Responsibilities • Content marketing • Data analysis (Google Analytics, pivot tables, etc.) • Email marketing • Digital advertising (Meta, Google Ads, etc.) • Coordinating tasks between the marketing and sales departments • Communicating with Japanese e-commerce companies • SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Typical Daily Schedule 9-10: Morning Routine: Brew coffee, greet team members, check messages from the previous day. 10-12: Catch Up: Check and reply to emails, contact team members. 11-12: Writing Blog: Create blog posts after research. 12-13: Lunch Break. 13-14: Data Review: Check KPIs and analysis data, refine ideas, prepare topics for the next meeting. 15-17: Focus Time: Develop ideas, schedule social media posts, write content, contact influencers, and manage collaboration campaign progress. 17-18: Wrap Up: Review remaining emails, confirm progress with team members, and work on leftover tasks. Employment Type • Full-time (permanent employment) *Probation period: 3 months. • Local work (remote work not available). Access 5-minute walk from Osaka Metro 'Sakaisuji Hommachi' or 'Kitahama'. *Bicycle commuting is allowed (prior consultation required). Working Hours • 9:15 AM to 6:15 PM. Flexible work system: Core time from 10:00 to 16:00 (8 hours of actual work). Lunch break can be up to 2 hours. • Completely two-day weekend (Saturday and Sunday). • Year-end and New Year holidays (4 days). • 26 days of paid vacation starting from the first year (number of days increases based on years of service). Salary • Monthly salary from 270,000 to 290,000 JPY (determined based on experience, ability, and age). • Bonus paid twice a year (June and December). Benefits • Annual salary increase. • Transportation allowance (up to 30,000 JPY per month). • Relocation support of 100,000 JPY after one month of joining (must be located over 60 km from headquarters, measured in straight-line distance). • Overtime compensation (paid down to the minute). • Complete social insurance (employment, workers’ compensation, health, and pension insurance). • Casual dress allowed (no need for suits). Ideal Candidate • Communication skills in Japanese and English: Essential for conveying information effectively to both the Japanese sales team and English-speaking marketing team. • Marketing-oriented: Ability to increase revenue from partner stores (companies). Important to analyze campaign performance and identify target audiences between different language versions for future promotional opportunities. • Content writing skills: Ability to conduct research and instruct content writers, assess the quality of provided content, and provide editing or improvement directions as necessary. • Positive mindset: Optimistic thinking that can accept change and thrive in a rapidly changing environment. Required Conditions • Native level Japanese (JLPT N1 or above) *No qualification required. • Business level English (TOEIC 850+) *No qualification required. • Digital marketing experience (one year or more, including SEO/Email marketing, etc.). Preferred Conditions • Experience in running PPC/PPA advertising. • Experience in UX. • Communication and negotiation skills. • Public relations experience. • Project management skills. Visa Requirement • Non-Japanese candidates must possess a work visa for Japan. Recruitment Process • First Interview – Recruitment Team (45-60 minutes, online or in-person). *Marketing & Logic Test (not conducted in online interviews). ↓ • Second Interview – Marketing Team (45-60 minutes, in-person required). *Marketing & Logic Test (if not conducted in the first interview).
