TOEFL Tutor / English Vocabulary Tutor (Remote, Part-time)

Tokyo Academics is comprised of a team of educators passionate about helping students achieve their academic potential. Role Responsibilities: - Conduct daily virtual lessons for TOEFL/English Vocabulary students. - Prepare for lessons prior to each class. - Teach one-on-one 30-minute classes. - Accommodate students’ needs and answer their questions during/after class. - Write progress reports for clients. - Communicate scheduling and performance updates with clients. Ideal Candidate: - Exceptional verbal and written English skills. - Previous experience with North American/multinational clients is a plus. - Teaching experience in academic English (preferable). - Bachelor's degree preferred. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suites, Skype. Work Hours: - Must be available from 4 PM to 10 PM JST, particularly during peak hours from 7 PM to 9 PM JST. - Minimum commitment of two hours per day.
