Winter Season – Restaurant Service Staff and Chef / Cook

Niseko Village, Japan

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Service Staff and Chef/Cook. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our Guests and ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. Additionally, as a Chef/Cook, you will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Both positions include fully paid training at the start of the season and various job benefits such as lift passes, subsidised accommodation, and a staff shuttle.

Salary¥1,250-1,450 per hour for Service Staff | ¥1,500-1,700 per hour for Chef / Cook

Working Hours5 days per week, around 40 hours per week. Roster is shift work so the days per week vary.

Qualifications

Passionate about hospitality service

Previous service experience is a plus

Professional attitude with courteous and friendly manner

Punctual individual

Excellent communication skills

Team player

English proficiency

Ability to speak Japanese is a plus

Ability to speak a second language is a plus (Service Staff)

Experience working as a Chef de Partie (Chef/Cook)

Understands how a successful kitchen operates (Chef/Cook)

Intermediate level English or Japanese (Chef/Cook)

Requirements

Acknowledgement and greeting of Guests (Service Staff)

Table service and taking orders (Service Staff)

Provide concept and menu explanations to Guests (Service Staff)

Simple restaurant hygiene and cleaning duties (Service Staff)

Hands on food preparation and cooking (Chef/Cook)

Maintaining communication with other Chefs on food orders (Chef/Cook)
